If you plan to edit anything in the Knot Atlas, we strongly encourage you to create an account and log in (see the upper right corner of this page). It will then be easy to look you up based on the history of the pages you've modified, and thus you will have effectively "signed your work".
- In general mathematical work should always be signed. What if somebody has some further questions?
- If you sign your work it is much easier to separate it from the blessed work of spammers, without having to read each modified page in detail.
