My name is Vincent,

I am a physicist working in different fields like biophysics and light scattering. I entered knot theory in relation with DNA mechanics, in 2000. At that time I wrote a program able to deal with skein operations to compute the Jones polynomial of knot and links. To test the abilities of this programm, I recently added HOMFLY-PT and Kauffman polynomials to the possibilities (just a few more algebra to implement). A mathematician suggested that I have a look at the Atlas, so did I.

My program is written in Objective Caml, a high-level language that I learned as a student. (http://caml.inria.fr/)
