Borromean-chainmail-tile.gif(800 × 600 pixels, file size: 63 KB, MIME type: image/gif)

An indefinitely extended "Borromean chain-mail" pattern, composed of overlapping L10n107 knots. Each small circle is part of four Borromean rings configurations (i.e. a L6a4 link), and each large circle is part of eight Borromean rings configurations (so that every area contained within circles of three different colors is at the center of a Borromean rings configuration, and no two circles are directly linked).

Wherever a yellow circle and a blue circle closely approach, the area between them is at the center of a L10n107 knot, so that each circle is part of four L10n107 knots.

To free a yellow or blue loop, two red loops or two green loops must be cut. To free a red or green loop, four other loops must be cut.

Self-made, declared by me to be in public domain (see http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Borromean-chainmail-tile.png ).
